The bedrock under Miami is Miami limestone, and it is only about 50 feet thick. In most spots you hit water just 15 to 20 feet down. That high water table makes buried drain and sewer lines tricky to reach and repair. We use sewer camera inspections to find the trouble before any digging starts.
